Starting today and until the end of October, I’ll have a show of prints at the Georgetown library in Massachusetts.
It took me 3 hours to set-up everything on location, many more to prepare the show.
It’s a huge library with plenty of different spaces to hang artworks, and historical artifacts here and there; even with all the pieces I brought, nearly 50 of them, I couldn’t use all the space. The building itself is a work of art, with an old part and a new part well connected. If you are interested, the hanging system is easy to use and everyone very friendly.
The town itself, North of Boston, is charming, with plenty of opportunities to walk or go kayaking not far from it. A good way to combine art and sport, in short!

A partir d’aujourd’hui et jusque fin octobre, j’aurai environ 50 gravures en exposition à la bibliothèque de Georgetown dans le Massachusetts.
Ça m’a pris 3 heures pour tout installer sur place, bien plus pour préparer l’expo.
C’est une grande bibliothèque avec beaucoup d’endroits différents pour accrocher des oeuvres et des objects historiques exposés ici et là. Si cela vous intéresse, le système d’accrochage est facile à utiliser et tout le monde très accueillant.
La ville elle-même, au nord de Boston, est charmante, avec beaucoup d’endroits où marcher ou faire du kayak dans les alentours. Une bonne façon de combiner art et sport, en somme!
