newsletter 2022

(texte en français ci-dessous)

Hello,

Now that my list of shows for the coming months is pretty much finished, it’s time to write this bi-yearly newsletter.

You will find this list of exhibitions directly on ldart.work but basically, it’s pretty much the return to pre-Covid shows and that’s not a bad thing. I am now doing a new market in Salem NH and I go less to the Natick one so as not to block all my weekends. I’m also going to try a new market in Lawrence in May. Otherwise, West Medford Open Studios is still outdoors this year, on one day only at the end of June, and Beacon Hill Art Walk returns to its usual date in early June.

You can now find almost all of my books in Kindle format. Proposing an electronic version of them was a project that I had had for a while without deciding to put myself into it until the day when I found by chance that it was quite easy if I used the pdf files that I already had. Now all I have to do is publish the first book I’ve written and then they’ll all be here, some in English, some in French, and some bilingual. I also have 3 of them in paper version that I sell directly during my exhibitions.

I’m also doing another book about the self-guided walks in Boston and New York but more info when it’s finished, probably next time. Ditto for 4 new woodcuts which are drying but are not yet colored or signed.

If you visit my sites, you may notice that there are no more ads. It did not earn me enough for the inconvenience it could cause you and it was mainly useful to advertisers so I removed them. I only advertise for my different projects now! I’ve also decreased my posts on social media and I’m happy with the time it frees me up although it’s still a good way to get my name out there so I’ll come back to it on occasion.

Well, that’s it for this time. Welcome to the 81 new subscribers to this letter and see you all soon here or there.

Dominique

Bonjour,

Dominique
